Why y’all gotta make things so complicated?
You may remember a couple years ago when rumors surfaced that Avril Lavigne had died and a lookalike was parading around in her place… and now the conspiracy theory is back in full swing!
Someone on Twitter created a thread making a case for the theory — and people can’t seem to get enough of it!
The story goes that the When You’re Gone singer hired a person named Melissa Vandella to distract paparazzi, but when she killed herself in 2003, Melissa took her place altogether.
Seems like a bunch of BS to us, but the theory has since gone viral AGAIN!
