Rumors were sparked when Liam referred to his baby momma as his “wife” in a recent interview on Sirius XM‘s Morning Mash Up. He said:
“I left my wife and child at home and I was straight out to In-N-Out burger. I’m just kidding.”
“Wife”??? Dun dun! Gasp! ZOMG!
Fans obviously ran with that, quickly jumping to conclusions and assuming that the new parents had totally tied the knot.
Well, the truth is, calling your significant other your “wife” is just common slang in the U.K., so, really, there’s nothing to see here, folks! Also, a source confirmed to E! News that there is no truth to the rumor.
It’s sad, we know, but we’re sure the two will get hitched at some point. They’re so in lurve! Might as well do it!
