Looks like the Bachelor In Paradise folks are going to be running a much tighter ship the second time around!

According to reports coming out in TMZ, producers have sent an email to contestants on this season’s show informing them that “new procedures” are taking place after the controversy between Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson landed the show in hot water a few weeks ago.

And can you guess one of those new procedures? Drug checks!!

The email reads, in part (below):

“Upon your arrival, your bags will be inventoried specifically for any over the counter and prescription drugs that are not prescribed to you. Any prescription/illegal drugs will be confiscated … All drugs, over the counter and prescribed, must be submitted to the Nurse to keep and dispense accordingly for your stay in Mexico.”

Production sources claim this has nothing to do with Corinne and DeMario, but more the fact that the producers want a tighter reign on the contestants’ activities…

Whatever the case, it sounds like the BIP production team is finally realizing the need for at least a few simple rules during their annual free-for-all down in Mexico.
