Not everyone would be happy to get stuck on the subway for HOURS, but Lorde sounds like the exception!
During her visit to Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday night, the Green Light singer reminisced about the time she was trapped on the F train in New York City for four hours!
Making light of what sounds like a horrible situation as passengers were without air conditioning while stuck underground in the middle of June, the 20-year-old didn’t sound so upset:
“All I could think about was that I had a little oatmeal sachet in my bag and I was like, ‘If anyone finds out, this is going to be like, prized commodity.’ It’s going to be like Lost! We’re going to be family now, we’re gonna be here forever.”
Still, she only has fond feelings for the subway:
“I love the subway … it would help me kind of be around people, because when you’re working in the studio, you’re very isolated and kind of just hang out with a couple people, so I feel like it sort of reintroduced me into society.”
Lorde fans should totally watch out for her on the train now!
