China is leading its people not into temptation, but delivering them from Justin Bieber.
The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture has banned the pop star from performing in the country in an effort to “purify” China’s entertainment industry!
The discovery came after a fan inquired on the culture bureau’s website why Bieber was not allowed to perform in China come September as part of his Purpose tour.
Apparently, Bieber’s act — on stage and off — is just too dirty for the bureau, which didn’t want the Canadian crooner to corrupt the Beliebers of China with his naughty behavior!
Citing Biebs’ several run-ins with the law, the bureau replied:
“We sympathize with your feelings. Justin Bieber is a talented singer but is also a controversial young foreign idol. We understand that there are records of his bad behavior, whether it is in his private life abroad or on stage.”
Sad! But it’s not too late for JB to say sorry — if the bureau finds that his behavior has improved, the 23-year-old may be allowed back to perform in the country!
Will Bieber care enough to win his way back into the country’s good graces?
