The show must go on… or should it?
As we reported, despite being accused of orchestrating an abusive sex cult, R. Kelly is going forward with his Friday concert at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach. This is his first performance since the allegations became public.
As it turns out, not all press is good press, because the singer’s concert is only HALF full! According to Live Nation‘s website:
As seen on the map, the venue — which holds 20,000 people — still has PLENTY of empty seats available (i.e. the white dots) hours before Kelly hits the stage.
TMZ contacted the theater and a representative explained the I Believe I Can Fly musician is simply not as popular as he once was.
Sucks to suck, dude!
