Mike Pence will NOT be running for president in 2020.
The Vice President made this fact abundantly clear after the New York Times suggested he was considering a run for the office. Not only did the Veep drag the report as being “categorically false,” but he also hit back by calling the allegations “laughable and absurd.”

Doth protest too much, sir?? Nonetheless, Vice President Pence noted on Twitter:

Well, there you have it! Although, to be fair, the NYT didn’t say out right that Pence was planning to challenge Donald in 2020. Rather they said the VP was “acting more like a second-term vice president hoping to clear the field than a No. 2 sworn in a little over six months ago.”
Still, we have a feeling this report left those working in the Oval Office shaken up. We mean, the Trump administration made sure Kellyanne Conway took shots at the article during her recent appearance on This Week With George Stephanopoulos.
After calling the claim “complete fiction,” the White House adviser added:
“It is absolutely true that the vice president is getting ready for 2020 — for reelection as vice president.”
Phew. As much as we hate Donald Trump, we’re terrified at the idea of Pence becoming Commander-In-Chief.
