Ryan Murphy has another show coming, and this time he’s sidestepping from the worlds of TV horror and true crime into the world of TV crime.
That’s right, he’s doing a police procedural! Well, kind of.
911 is a drama revolving around the lives of 911 operators. And while watching people sit and talk on the phone may sound far less interesting than watching the cops go solve crimes, keep two things in mind.

First, this is from the minds of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, so we can prob expect it to be twisted and surprising.
Second, according to Deadline, miss Angela Bassett herself, who brought the gravitas and the badass-itas to four seasons of American Horror Story, is set to lead! And if THAT doesn’t get you to sit yo ass down and watch, we don’t know what will!
911 is expected to be announced with a 13-episode straight to order first season during FOX‘s upfronts on Monday.
