Well this is one way to end a feud…
As we previously reported, things seemed tense between Katy Perry and Niall Horan after the Chained To The Rhythm singer accused the One Direction alum of “always” trying to flirt with her. Unsurprisingly, the Slow Hands artist clapped back with claims that Miz Perry was just trying to “patronize” him and defended that he just wanted to be her friend. Merp!

However, it appears as though Perry and Horan have buried their beef as they had a *somewhat* friendly run in at The Voice Australia over the weekend. The 32-year-old poked fun at their feud on her Instagram story (below) as she jokingly called Niall a “stage 5 clinger.”
Oh, and she also accused the X Factor vet of “following” her — an accusation which was met by a HIGHlarious facial response by the Irish songwriter.

Clearly, the A-listers are trying to downplay whatever awkwardness is between them… but it isn’t working. LOLz!
At the end of the day, we doubt this feud will rage on à la Katy’s beef with Taylor Swift. Why?? In case you forgot, Russell Brand‘s ex is the one who gave Niall his big break when he auditioned for the X Factor. Back in 2010, Katy was a guest judge on the singing competition and voted to have Horan make it through to the the next round!
