John McCain has a hero’s persistance.
As we previously reported, the celebrated Arizona senator was hit with devastating news as he was diagnosed with a brain tumor after getting a blood clot surgically removed from “above his left eye.” What a tough break.

Nonetheless, the seasoned politician isn’t about to let his diagnosis stand in the way of his career. Amid his loved ones and peers’ outpouring of support, the former presidential hopeful took to Twitter and wrote:
I greatly appreciate the outpouring of support – unfortunately for my sparring partners in Congress, I’ll be back soon, so stand-by!

Take that cancer! We’re wishing Senator McCain only the speediest of recoveries.
