Change is scary!!!
2017 is really testing our patience with the whole “out with the old, in with the crazy.”
So, consumers are understandably hesitant to say goodbye to a beloved Coca-Cola product in exchange for a sort of similar, yet vaguely confusing drink!
On Wednesday, the soda company announced plans to stop selling Coke Zero in the U.S. in August and replace it with a completely re-vamped beverage: Coke Zero Sugar.

CEO James Quincey says the new drink is “a reinvention of Coke Zero,” with a different recipe and sleek design. According to the company, Coke Zero Sugar is closer to the taste of the standard Coca-Cola, but with zero sugar and zero calories.
The beverage is reportedly already a hit outside the states — but not everyone is ready to say goodbye to the OG. Others are having trouble understanding whether or not the product actually has sugar.
It’s a big deal, you guys. See what people are saying about the end of Coke Zero (below):

Changing “Coke Zero” to “Coke Zero Sugar” does not constitute a #brand “REINVENTION”. (It does taste slightly better though. ?)

They’re calling it Coke Zero Sugar? That sounds like Coke Zero, only made with sugar. https://t.co/DF7OjQwc6M

Coke Zero, a major part of my diet, being junked for Coke Zero Sugar. Was there a clamor for this by co that gave us the New Coke debacle?

Perhaps @CokeZero‘s impending death is just an effort to make us all nicer. Rather than ordering a Coke Zero, it’ll be a Coke Zero, Sugar…

Man, Coke. . . This is incredibly, incredibly disappointing. pic.twitter.com/AQwczso3Kn

Despite the opposers, Coke is feeling very confident about Coke Zero Sugar:
We’re confident fans of Coke Zero will love the new, delicious taste of Coke Zero Sugar! We hope you’ll give it a try next month.

Will you be trying Coke Zero Sugar??
