It’s safe to say that Donald Trump is a complete garbage person.
As we previously reported, the Commander-In-Chief announced on Wednesday that he was banning transgender Americans from serving in the military as their presence plagued the army with “tremendous medical costs.” However, in typical Trump fashion, it appears as though this statement is blatantly false.

According to the 2016 RAND study (which was commissioned by the Department Of Defense), the medical costs for service members who are transgender added up to an “exceedingly small portion of active-component health care expenditures.” Specifically, the study ruled that the Military Health System costs would only increase by $2.4 million to $8.4 million a year if gender transition-related expenditures were extended to service members.
While this may sound like a large chunk of change, in reality, this amount only makes up 0.005 to 0.017 percent of the Department of Defense’s total health care funds. Also, for someone who is SO concerned about spending, POTUS doesn’t mind hemorrhaging money when it comes to his personal trips to Mar-a-Lago and the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster.

In fact, in the six months since becoming president, the Trumpster has cost taxpayers $29 million in trips to his private clubs. How did we get this number?? Well, it’s said Donnie’s weekends away can cost the American people anywhere from $1 million to $3.6 million. We mean, an hour on Air Force One alone costs approximately $142,380.
Oh, and out of 27 weekends being president, Ivanka Trump‘s poppa has spent 11 of those at either Mar-a-Lago or the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. You can double check the math for yourself HERE!
So, in short, the U.S. could afford trans service members’ health care if Donald cut back on his weekends away. Seeing as how the president is the most narcissistic person on the planet, we doubt it’ll happen.
