Don’t mess with a legend!

As we reported, Quincy Jones filed a lawsuit against Sony Music and MJJ Productions for allegedly taking advantage of his age, and swindling him out of a large chunk of revenue from a number of Michael Jackson hits he produced.

The 84-year-old claims both companies were responsible for an unethical accounting trick where they mislabeled money from the King of Pop’s music as profits instead of royalties.

Fast forward to Wednesday, the music producer won the fight and was awarded $9.4 million (out of the $10 million he asked for).

What a Thriller of a court case!
